About Me

Hello Surfers! Thanks for checking out my profile. I look forward to meeting you!

Quick blurb: Jeffrey, 30yo, queer, they/them pronouns, adventurer, Virgo, a surprising mix of sweet and genuine, and a sassy bitch as one of my mates would say. I own it, and love it, bc in today's society we gotta have backbone, know what we want out of life and take it, and stay focused on our own goals and dreams.

I first learned about CouchSurfing on my way to Europe in 2014. I had literally packed up my life in LA and prepared to "move to Europe!” In October 2014 I left my Los Angeles home and started the journey! I traveled to Copenhagen first, then Paris, Barcelona, Dublin, London, Amsterdam, Cologne, Berlin, Prague, Brussels, Manchester, Brighton, and Stockholm! It was amazing, I spent four months seeing cultures rich with history, met diverse groups of people, and started a new personal journey to who I will become. I am still on that journey. After arriving back in the States in February of 2015 I moved back to my home city of Portland, Oregon. After a few months to catch my breath I moved to Seattle at the start of the New Year, 2016! Its been another four years and it's time for the next best adventure, a trip around the world! I started in Sydney for NYE, then Melbourne, and Tassie, and I am back in Melbourne for a few weeks before I visit New Zealand for a bit. Currently planning SE Pacific Oceania tour after I see Oz and NZ. No set plan but wanna end up in Shanghai and Tokyo and most of Japan honestly,, then swing by Tel Aviv for Pride, and Egypt for the amazing history and culture, then check out Greece and Italy, and the Mediterranean, I hear Croatia can be a lot of fun and cheap/sick tattoo artists. Definitely interested in finding unique body art and jewelry to cherish forever.

Currently: Melbourne

If you’re going to send a message please tell me two things not on your profile, what's your favorite animal? Mine is a Hippopotamus..put this in any correspondence so I know you're interested.

Can't host but may have an Airbnb throughout the trip and could host but that may be more few and far between honestly. haha.

It would be really cool to meet other Queer, and LGBT folks to hang out with, do things, make art, create, and stay with if possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am open to hosting when I can on my journey throughout the world, seeking fantastic hosts along the way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed with many people here and many friends throughout the years. It's an amazing opportunity to break down barriers, experience a different view of the city and people, while also being comfortable and warm. The exchange of experiences, love, culture, and history are huge draws to this community. I look forward to more connections around the world. Show me your culture, traditions, and community, your passions and love, and who you are.

Interests

Where to begin? I am interested in you, your world, my world, their world... I have a profound appreciation for yoga, meditation, crystals, the Woo, the Universe. My vibrations are powerful, learning to focus them is a constant practice. I love culture, museums, art galleries, and historical landmarks. We are products of our past, I hope to be a product of my future, as well. I am a pot smoker, I am also respectful; I'm a very functional stoner, you want me stoned, Trussst. I'm not big into loud scenes but I do like to look in the window. The gay scene is always with a jaunt. New friends welcome, time permitting. Sometimes I'm only in the city for the night.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am in a musical journey, tell me your top five favorite artists, I'll listen to them. I know I appreciate instrumental, classical, jazz, soft rock, pop, and alternative genres; show me someone new.

Love many genres of movie: action, Sci Fi, fantasy, superhero, documentary, comedies, love stories, etc

Not much of a reader, though a good fantasy book will grab my attention. Harry Potter fan all the way, Slytherin House (GREEN AND SILVER)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I witnessed a woman's dream of singing on the Hollywood Bowl stage come true and she did it beautifully.

I almost died when I was a kid, a giant boulder rolled over me but didn't leave a scratch.

I celebrated Amsterdam's birthday with a unique personal tour on the canals.

I celebrated the Fall of the (Berlin) Wall's 25th anniversary.

I witnessed demonstrations of love and a call for Freedom of Tibet in Prague.

Every moment of life is pretty amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am generous with my love, conversation, and abilities. I love to cook for more than myself, keep common area clean, and share in memorable moments.

I have learned to breathe through every situation, accepting the moment and realizing it will pass and the strength I possess is not shaken.

I'll teach you more random information than you even care about; all offhandedly.

What I Can Share with Hosts

i offer each person I encounter love and respect, positive energy and the exchange of what my life has brought me.
I also love to cook, making food is an easy way to exchange love and give someone the sense of belonging.
My cleaning skills are also quite good, I will always maintain the space I am given as well as common areas
Makeup artistry, esthetician advice.
