About Me

I'm a bioscience engineer specialized in cell- and genetic engineering, though I have a wide field of interests. I'm an orchestra musician (violins) and actor/director at Trivial Muffins Theatre Association (find us on facebook!), polyglot (I love using languages), traveler, script writer, teacher... I am very interested in cultures as well as political history. Both Europe and America intrigue me a lot because of this. Besides that, I'm a casual guy, introvert though communicative, love to dance, to think. I do not drink nor smoke, but don't mind if others do. The rest you'll have to find out! Oh, and I'm a cinephile too...

PHILOSOPHY

I was raised evangelical Christian, but have distanced from many of its ideas. I'm in the middle of a deconstruction process, where I feel much attracted to the ideas of the pyrotheology movement. I'm very interested in how other people think and live. I love reading and thinking about life and philosophy, and so I love listening to stories of people as well as sharing my own. I am most respectful and open-minded.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Some summers ago I had my first experience. It was awesome. I would love to be more part of this, so do text me if you need a spot!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Once, in Budapest. Had an awesome time with Boldiszar! I have quite some contacts in most Belgian cities, so I usually don't need to couchsurf to often. Many people have stayed in my place, though most of the time not through the official channel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Berlin is the one place I'd advice every young person to go to one day.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a bit of a 'Did you know that...' person.
People also say I'm a great storyteller.
Not my opinion, but still worthy to share ;)

What I Can Share with Hosts

It will depend on my situation! Free from everything, I'd love to take you around, show you places, talk about the history, give you a sleeping place, cook food with you etc... Just know I don't know anything about alcoholic drinks.
I work until 7PM during weekdays, so for the moment it will only be evening activities.
