About Me

CURRENT MISSION
See... Everything?

ABOUT ME

I have lived in New England for most of my life, with a few wonderful years in New Orleans in the interim. I have strong ties to my German heritage, and that is one of the reasons I have been inspired to travel. Seeing the world is my biggest goal right now. I am a very easy going guy who loves nothing more than to get a local experience of wherever I go.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have hosted a few surfers from different places and had wonderful experience each time. All the people who stayed with me were open and kind people, who shared my passion for travel. I like to stay with other couch surfers when I can, as it is always the best way to see a place, and discover things you won't find in any tour book.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted a couple of surfers and enjoyed the company of each and every one.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy most all types of music when engaged in the proper environment, but during my time in New Orleans I truly fell in love with live jazz music, there's nothing like it!

I enjoy watching all Quentin Tarantino and Guy Ritchie films, but I don't stay very up to date on cinema because I'd rather appropriate my money in other ways.

I love any book with a great story, whatever it may be. Educational books are important to me as well, but I think we as humans learn best through stories, fictional or otherwise.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been working at a summer camp for the past 6 summers, which I attended since eleven years ago. It may seem mundane but to me it is truly amazing to be able to work with kids of all ages, to teach them, to be their friends, and to watch them grow as people. Nothing is more important to me than being a positive influence on the live's of young people, and helping them experience what I believe helped mold me as a person today.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I believe that I have a positive disposition on life that makes me a fun person to be around. For someone my age I consider myself well traveled, and well experienced and I love nothing more than to share my story and hear the stories of other people, because I really do believe we learn the most about the world from the people in it. I also love to cook and few things are more satisfying to me than to cook a wonderful dinner for people whom I care about or have done me a kindness.
