About Me
I want to write more, and always be more kind, and I like to find perspectives that change my mind
I love words and puns and laughing. I love movies. I love rain and cool weather. I love adventure and taking good risks. I love making films
I'm a comedian— used to do a lot of improv for many years, but it's been a while now, but I'd like to make some time for it again very soon. I've been writing standup that I hope I'll perform on a stage soon
I've lived in Texas, Virginia, Utah, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Illinois, and I'm presently in Rhode Island
One of my favorite book quotes: "There's only one rule that I know of, babies--God damn it, you've got to be kind." - Kurt Vonnegut, Jr
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I learned about CS from my friend and banana brother Ky, who got me this sweet, weird job, and told me all about couchsurfing.org as a means of making my job even more fun. CS has been an adventure full of meaningful moments and new friendships. I have only been a surfer, so far, and not yet a host.
^ The above is from my first few years experience with CS, from 15 years ago. I look forward to having new experiences with couchsurfing in this new phase of my life
Interests
I love watching films. I do a lot of improv and scripted theater. I love to go camping whenever I can.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I will never forget this one deep blue iceberg I saw from a beach in Alaska in 1995. At one point, a big chunk of ice broke off and splashed down into the water, and a couple minutes later, the waves from that splash came crashing onto the beach where I stood, and I had to step back out of the way from that sudden high tide
