I am from the USA. I lived in Peru for one year (2008) and in China for three years (2009-2012). I am more or less fluent in Spanish and Mandarin. I have traveled to around 15 countries, mostly in East/Southeast Asia and South America. I am a vegetarian. In 2012 I moved back to the USA and now work as a high school teacher.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Everyone I have met through Couchsurfing has been interesting, generous, friendly, and kind. And it makes it much more affordable to travel.

Interests

My favorite parts about traveling are the languages, cultures, and foods. Outside of traveling and learning languages, I like to play music, read, and eat good vegan food.
