I'm a Dutch national with a passion for travelling. I'm currently working in Renewable Energy and Alternative fuels. Recently I spent 5 months in Indonesia and 2 months in New Zealand. I'm planning to visit Scotland in June and Sweden in August/September for my next hiking adventures!

Couchsurfing is the perfect opportunity to meet up with locals and get to know the way of living of the countries that I'm visiting. It provides perfect insight into the people and the culture. Also, recommendations for places to go (outside of the touristic area) are much more enjoyable!
