About Me

I’m about to embark on a round the world trip which I’ll start in September in Australia and end; I know neither when, nor where .. I will travel with my backpack and a few stuff in it, I want to discover new places, new people, new cultures and new ways of life! It is kind of a year off as I just finished secondary school and turned 18 at the end of August. So I will only be using Couchsurfing as a guest this year as I won’t be home but I already feel ready to give back to people and the Couchsurfing community when I get back home (Knowing that, don’t be surprised to find the “my home” section almost empty for now).
I would describe myself as ; simple, open-minded, and happy with not much .

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It is an easy way to meet people when you arrive somewhere you’ve never been before. I would say that by staying with a local you can get an idea of what a life in a specific place can be like. Also, it is an easy way to find a place to sleep, not really costly, but most of all, way more “interesting” at the level of meetings.
It is always good to find a local person to help you decide which places you want to check out and which are not worth being seen.

Music, Movies, and Books

Many movies about travelling or nature ( such as the well-known “into the wild”).
I also like action and adventure movies sometimes.
I love reading, books about people’s stories, or books that make you travel.
I read philosophical books from time to time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Undertaking this big trip, which has been my dream for a long time now. It is not easy to find the courage to leave your family and home for a way of life much more uncomfortable and inconstant for a long period of time, but as it is what I really wanted, I did everything I could to make it come true.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to share strories of my travels. I also like cooking so I can eventually make you something 😉 Bring a bit of the Belgian culture to your place!
I can help my hosts with whatever they need help with ( do the dishes, do some gardening,..)
