Hello ! I am Jehanne, 25 years old french woman travelling to New York in June 2023 to visit a friend. I am working as a Social media Manager in the architectural field in Paris. I live in Paris for 5 years now, with my best friend and my cat.

I would love to meet new people and take pictures of them in their environment. It would be a way to create a testimony of our meeting.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to step out from my comfort zone and experience a new type of travelling where I can meet interesting people.

When I travel, I always bring my camera with me, so I can take pictures of people that I meet and keep those pictures as a timeless memory.

My ultimate goal is to create a book mixing photography and texts of people that I meet. A testimony of my trip that I can remember forever.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was visiting Berlin in 2019, we wanted to go to a club around 2 in the morning with two friends when we met a woman that was completely freaked out. She told us that she was kidnapped in a building... 3 men tried to steal the money from a bank and she was working in the building at this moment. We called the police and they never caught them.
In the end, we didn't go to the club haha !

Teach, Learn, Share

I absolutely love teaching french to people. We can talk about french culture, food or philosophy and I can teach you how to order a baguette as real french !

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love taking portraits of people I meet with my an analog camera. It would be a pleasure to take beautiful pictures of you in your environment !

At the end of my trip, i would love to create a book with pictures and stories of people that I met. I would love to offer that book to all the wonderful people that I would meet during my trip.
