Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am a singer and I kind of travel a lot. It is always nicer to arrive in a city where you don't know anybody, and still have the possibility to find some couch surfer freinds to hang out with :)
I have done almost a year of welcoming couch surfers in the past when I was living in Lyon (on an old account) and love to do it still when I can, in Paris (which is the best city in the world!!)
I've also done a lot of traveling around and love to meet travellers. I am a good host but I also know how to behave as a guest!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was busking, singing some classical tunes, with a friend (a fun way to earn money ;p) in Antibes (south of France). When an old women stops on her old bycicle, and tells us to stop singing and follow her. We obeyed. As we are following her she explained that her husband's funeral was in an hour and she hadn't found an organist for the ceremony yet and asked us to sing. Of course we said yes, planned the ceremony with the father in a half hour.
It was one of the strongest eand most beautiful experience I've ever lived!!!
The old women was called "Vanillette" and she still calls us every year to see how we're doing!!
