ABOUT ME

I am currently living in Austria trying to improve on my German skills, and hopefully get into an LLM program in the fall. I want to study environmental law because I am so passionate about sustainability and environmental security. I But right now... I will study anything if they will take me! I am a vegetarian ( surprise!) but I won't judge people for eating meat. I like to think of myself as a pretty open and easy going person ( maybe a bit shy at first, but I warm up quickly) I admit that sometimes I am a little bit scatter-brained and off in my own world but I try to keep that in check ;) I am also overly- optimistic but I don't plan on changing that anytime soon. I just love everything.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that people need to be happy with themselves in order to be happy with their worlds. In my opinion the saddest thing is when people don't try to accomplish something because it's " too hard" rather than trying their god damn best to MAKE IT HAPPEN. I am really stubborn that way and have a lot of will power. I just don't believe in backing down from what's worth it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was living in Calgary last year and had some people couchsurf which was great. I don't currently have a place for people to stay, but I really would love to have people as soon as it is possible!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had a few couch surfers myself, and met some other great ones through friends. I think it is such a great way to meet new and interesting people, and not have to necessarily see them again if they weren't all that new and interesting ;) just kidding...

Interessi

Back to me loving everything... I enjoy being outside doing just about anything. I love the smell of leaves in the falltime and seeing blankets of snow in the wintertime. I enjoy cooking, both vegetarian and non vegetarian foods. I also really enjoy eating. I am interested in nutrition. I am interested in people. I like running and hiking and biking and walking and swimming, anything that takes too much co ordination is out of the question for me, but I will try anyways. I love to drink tea, and when I am back at home to make my own. I also like reading, chatting and the occasional gossip.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

I really feel that sometimes it's all the little things we forget about that are truly amazing. Christmas, grass stains, old tupperware, the smell of cookies, etc etc. But really, I think that hiking in the mountains in canada is one of the most beautiful things I have done. There is nothing like that anywhere.

Everything about Iceland is also amazing. That is one of the most incredibly natural places, and I am sure nowhere can compare.
