I'm an easy going fairly down to earth kinda guy. I REALLY enjoy travelling, even with this horribly restricted passport of mine ;-) I love meeting new people, learning about their backgrounds, experiences and so on.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to this and just getting started, so it seems like a good way to meet folk by offering them a bed. Hopefully I'll have the chance soon to travel and meet some others in the same way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We haven't yet surfed any couches ourselves, but have hosted a few people and it was great meeting them and getting to know more about their backgrounds.

Interests

Photography, sailing, mountain biking, scuba, flying, golf, cricket & rugby. Oh, and whisky, love a good whisky.

Music, Movies, and Books

Mostly rock, metal, alternative, some pop and country. On the movie front actions, some drama, comedies. For books I enjoy auto-biographies, crime, suspence, thrillers .... that sort of thing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Rode part of the Freedom Challenge trail on mountain bikes from Peitermaritzburg in Kwa-zulu Natal to Rhodes in the Eastern Cape.
