Hello everyone! My name is Jehoshaphat Collins, but everyone just calls me Joey. I grew up in a tiny town called Chaumont in the far reaches of upstate NY - better known to us as The North Country. I am new to traveling alone, utilizing Couchsurfing, and I am very excited to begin. I play guitar, sing, and I have lots of tattoos, but don't let that put you off. I am a sarcastically silly, happy, and fun loving guy. I love food, good conversations, and I consider myself a hard working fella. Once again, I am very excited to travel and meet new people!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just completed my enlistment in the U.S. Navy. I plan to backpack Europe over the next year - I hope I can last that long. I hope couchsurfing can provide an inexpensive way to meet new people and find a place to rest my head throughout my travels.

Books: My favorite writer is Brandon Sanderson. I like fantasy books mostly, but I also have read books from writers such as, George Orwell, Kurt Vonnegut, Chuck Palahniuk, JRR Tolkien, Stephen King, and many others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm not sure If I have done anything quite impressive enough to be consider amazing. However I did get to pet a tiger, and take a picture with him, when I was in Thailand.

Teach, Learn, Share

As I have said, I'm New on here so I don't quite know what I have to offer in the line of teaching. I do , however hope to learn a great deal from others and share anything I have to offer. For me this is my "Great Adventure", I intend to soak everything up that I can.
