About Me

CURRENT MISSION

A stranger is just a friend you haven't met before!

ABOUT ME

I am currently for 10 Month in Aalborg, Denmark for study reasons - That's why my couch is on traveling.

I am an experienced traveller and can't wait to hit the road again because I strongly belive that traveling and meeting different people is the best education you can get and no one can teach you this, there is no school for this kind of education and you can certainly not buy it!

PHILOSOPHY

To practice what you preach and try to make the world a better place to live in. For everybody!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I read an article about couchsurfing in 2006, tried it out and felt in love with it!
I think it is important to understand the philosophy behind the whole thing and that it is not just a substitute for a hostel and that you should consciously choose the person you want to stay with rather then sending requests to everyone who might have a couch available.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I joined Cocusurfing in summer 2007 and had quite a few people staying since then. ALL of them were supherb persons and we had a great time together!
I also had the pleasure to be hosted twice in NYC

Interests

Besides travelling I love to go skiing (the Alps are only one hour away from Munich!), to play football meeting my friends and have a good time. I enjoy music and good concerts altough I don't play any instrument except the triangle ;-)
My big passion is diving, especially when combining it with some nice travells!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled Asia and lived in Phnom-Penh, Cambodia for 6 month.
Experienced the underwater world while scubadiving on the Caribbean coast of Colombia, Nicaragua and Honduras; dove with sharks and turtles in Malaysia, Indonesia and the Phillipines; jumped into the aquarium of the red sea in Dahab, Egypt; 4 days live-a -board dive Safari in the Andaman Sea
Climbed Mount Kinabalu (4095), Borneo, the highest peak between the Himalayas and Papua New Guinea.
