ABOUT ME

My name is Jelena, I'm from Croatia, Europe, My hometown is Punat on the island KRK, but I live in Rijeka. I go to work everyday from Rijeka-Punat-Rijeka so if I have couchsurfers there, I can pick you up and you can go with me to Rijeka. During the summer, I'm staying either in Punat or Vrbnik (also on the island) it depends if my mother-in-law is watching over my kid( in Vrbnik), or my mother (Punat). From October I will be in Rijeka with my husband again.

Summer months are always BUSY BUSY with friends and family coming, and work, and since I have my son, I don't host so much, so I'm not sure if I will host this summer but you can try - In Vrbnik I have couch to sleep on in living room(it stretches to bed) and in Punat where my mom lives we have room or couch (whatever is free :) ) and sometimes I just want to be alone so don't be angry if I don't host you :) or host you only for 1 or 2 nights
What can I tell u about me.. positive person who likes to laugh a lot, I loooooooooooooveeeee to travel and meet new people, and till now I had a lot great opportunities to do that :)) love my family and friends especially my twinsister LINDA who always travels with me!!! we love to go out, have some drinks, dance, hang out, listen to good music...and we love salsa, ou yeah!!! :))- actualy, I have written this a whiiillle ago - since we have kids, we dont go out much at night :)))we love to take photos and that's why I have them here so many of them...can't help it folks :))
Linda lives in Rijeka and maybe she can host, I dont know :) try send request and I'll ask her :)

PHILOSOPHY

in summer 2009 I met a great person named Lindsay and sometimes we talked about life problems and what she has been through in her life and also I talked about mine...anyways, long story short, just take a deep breath and say LIFE IS EASY.. we felt better, didn't u..just think about it :)) and put a smile on your face :)) - I wrote this in 2009, but still is a good sentence :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We started to 'do' couchsurfing years ago, when my friend introduced it to me and since then I'm lovin' it :)) I think It's a great community where we help each other while traveling and meeting new and different people, go to places where tourist won't go...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Until now, we only had a great experiences and I'm really happy about that!! We met sooooooo many great, smart and funny people, they are all different but yet everyone was so helpful in so many ways...either by talking about local stuff, driving us by car somewhere, suggesting good and cheap places to see, visit, eat, drink...or just hanging out with us....or telling us about American history till 3am :))
As a host - I like to have somebody to change my routine and to help somebody with couch, lunch, conversation etc....

Intereses

I am interested in all kinds of things and some of those things are--> music, dancing, natural cosmetics, foreign languages, good and interesting people, reading books (even though I dont read a lot cause it seems that the time is always a problem:)) writing letters (yes e-mails but also REAL letters, yup, I still do that :)) and then again music, and music, and music...and travel yeah,I almost forgot :))

movies --ulalaaa there's soo many movies that I like...every with al pacino and robert de niro and crewhahah..... action movies, comedy..just a lot of movies...
addicted to sex and the city series :)) what can I dooooooo.... :))
music..now we're talking... I can listed to almost everything (R'n'b, rock, jazz, house, rap, pop, country, ragee...)but I think I enjoy the most in r'n'b...ouuu yeaahhhh ... recently I have been to a concert of John Legend...a-ha...mmmmmmm.....John... :)
this dayz I'm in a mood for good salsa music.. vamos vamos :)

Algo increíble que he hecho

I have traveled a world quite a bit and have seen A LOT of beautiful places and things and I am really proud that I lived in the USA 3 times for 5 months.. well, 4 months working and then 1 month traveling (year 2008,2009 and 2010)...GREAT EXPERIENCE...
