ABOUT ME

Hi World!!!

I'm in this for the same reason as you are, to meet, greet, and host people from all over the world! I'm a very curious person who regards travel as an absolute necessity in my life. I live to travel and I travel to live.......

It would be my honor to host those people who find themselves interested in my area or just need a place to crash for a night or two. It's not too exciting here, but it does have its qualities. I live close to many wonderful parts of Florida and can offer some sage advice with what to do while here, sometimes I'll even be able to play tour guide, but not always as I have teenage sons and a fiancee to also contend with!!!!!

I've travelled all over the US, Europe, parts of Asia, Australia and Central and South America, (with intimate knowledge of Costa Rica!) I love all the places that I've discovered so far, some more than others, but I truly have a great appreciation for travel and meeting new people and that's exactly why I'm here!

I love this site because it puts like-minded people from all over the world together, on one simple website! PERFECT!!!!!!

Feel free to contact me if you need a really comfy couch to crash on, but I might also have a bedroom available if the kids are with their dad!!!!

1: Meeting Ronald Reagan while he was President!
2. Dancing with Stevie Nicks in NYC one evening to her own music!
3: Meeting Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin
4: Meeting Lady Gaga in Miami last January!
5: Attending the Dalai Lama lectures in Indianapolis last May!
6: Catching a rainbow trout on fly on the Colorado River in 2001!
7: Finding Buddhism in Thailand!
8: Fishing the River Spey in Scotland!
9: The Fringe Fest in Edinburgh, a big favorite of mine!
10: Narrowboating in England!
11: Meeting the "Little Britain" stars while in England 3-times!
12: Manchester United fan, I love international football!
13: I have never met a jet that I wasn't grateful for! PLEASE, just take me somewhere new! I LOVE PLANES!!! I love new destinations MORE!!!!!

I can do all of those things within my own personal ability........I am not a teacher, but a human being with a lot to share, but with more to learn!!!! So, why not teach me something too? My biggest interests currently are birding and gardening, but I can party like a rock star too! I guess some things never change! I LOVE red wine, but am not a wine snob.
