I'm Jelle, 41 years old and living in Belgium. I'm adventurous, open-minded, down-to-earth and always looking for new challenges. Love to travel and meet new cultures and people. Trying new things and leaving my comfort zone drives me. I always invest in making good memories for myself instead of material stuff.

I prefer going to unknown destinations and explore the unbeaten path above all. Being in nature makes me very happy. I love sports and try to live an active life. Love being in the mountains above all.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting new people from different parts of the world, different backgrounds and cultures enriches me as a person and reminds me we are not so different after all. When travelling I'm usually interested in the local way of living as much as possible and by doing CS you get the whole package. Meeting new people and live as a local.

All books related to traveling (non-fiction) and "Into the Wild" (fiction)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Following the Belgium national football team during tournaments and away games. Brought me to different countries like Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia...
- Working in the Alps for seasonaire work and enjoying snowboarding as a local.
- Been on a TV show.
