ABOUT ME

I only know of one person who doesn't like me, and it's not me. I'm not particularly outgoing but I get along easily with people when I remember to smile. I don't like to lie, gossip, or play jokes on people. I play the violin, and just as the violin is an instrument which sounds best accompanied, so my personality is most agreeable when mixed with other characters. However, I don't depend on others for excitement in my life. I think a lot, perhaps too much, and enjoy reading books, writing letters, and talking on the phone to service representatives rather than sending an e-mail enquiry.

I have lived in Aberdeen since November 2011, but I spend half my life as a labourer on an offshore installation. I like my work and my colleagues, and am generally a happy person.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Climbed a mountain on the Greek island of Hydra in dress shoes, and on the way down graciously accepted some water from a couple on vacation from Athens who had climbed up to a concrete platform well above the town. We talked and admired the spectacular view together.
