ABOUT ME

I'm a typical Libra - not that I'm much into astrology, but I fit the textbook description of a Libra. I'm a little shy but I warm up once I get to know people. Couchsurfing actually puts me way out of my comfort zone, but I'm pushing myself to be a little more social and meet new people and have amazing adventures!

I am travelling to Iceland in September (2012) and I'm really excited! We (my roommate and I) will be mostly staying at hostels along the way, but are hoping to find some couch surfers who can show us a local view of Iceland!

Interests

I love good music, movies, food (the cheap but good kind), board games, photography and travel. If I could, I'd love to be a film maker - I just lack the inspiration :(. I often dream that I'm a rockstar, playing the guitar and/or drums.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing the Northern Lights in Alaska for the first time was an amazing experience. Even though it was really faint, I felt like I was in the presence of something special.

Traveling through the various Canyons and parks of Utah in winter was another amazing experience. The roads and parks were so empty that often we were the only people around for miles. The snow on the red rock was gorgeous and I feel a little sad for people who only visit these places in summer.

If you have the spices, I could try to cook you an Indian meal :)

I can teach you how to play some chords on a guitar if you like. I'm not very good, but I can try!
