We used to live in Melbourne. Now we live in Spain! I love to sing songs with Huw and write down random thoughts and things. Learning Spanish slowly, forgetting English lots! Huw likes cats, I prefer dogs.

We love the people (most of them anyway). What an amazing place! We hope to be able to host and help out others who are travelling too

Gijón is a beautiful place! Asturias really is a hidden gem. Great landscapes and food!!! We live near La Arena...5 mins from the beach... 15 min walk from bus station/centre close to parque Isobela católica with the famous bird park!

We live in a one bedroom apartment. Our living room has pull out sofa and can sleep 1-2 ppl. We have a tiny kitchen which you're welcome to use. We like to give you privacy. We're not in your face much.. you're welcome to do your own thing but we also don't mind showing you places in Gijon if you need advice or company.

We prefer Friday/Saturday stays as that's when we have days off but other days could work just ask :)

We hope to make some meaningful connections with people while we are on this side of the globe !

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So many!
My first experience was over 10 years or more ago in Perth, Australia. I have also hosted some lovely people in Melbourne. I have couchsurfed with some wonderful people in Paris, Copenhagen, Germany, Iceland and the Netherlands.
