When you meet me, I will probably be smiling. I enjoy the encounter and the conversation, even without speaking the same language. From home, I bring a bit of Dutch openness and directness with me. Although I love being on the road and quickly make new friendships, my path will always lead back to the good friendships in my home country. You haven’t truly been anywhere if you haven’t missed someone.

At home, I work as a teacher at a high school and in youth care. My academic background is in psychology. I’m in a relationship with my lovely Anouk, who is just as relaxed and travel-loving as I am. I also enjoy training for triathlons.
