ABOUT ME

Hi everyone who wants to read about me!

I am a 24-year old student from the Netherlands. I am an easygoing and flexible person, always in for a joke, and am very interested in people and the countries they come from. People say I am helpful and positive.

Travelling and sporting are my most favourite activities, next to go out and party with friends and play saxophone. I really love to visit concerts.

I studied Water Science and Management in Utrecht (Netherlands). I have been backpacking through South-America and was living in New-Zealand for 4 months but am moving to Mozambique now for a year!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed in the beautiful city of Torino, where I found 2 incredible hosts, in Estonia, with another nice host and in South America!

Interests

Travelling, every country is interesting!

Sports: I have practiced the Dutch sport korfball (almost all my life), I like to do cycling, running, hiking in the mountains (which we don't have in the Netherlands...), kayaking, playing and watching football.

Music: I play the saxophone and love to go to concerts and festivals.

Further I am interested in nature and cities all around the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to watch and read thriller films and books. The music I like is everything between pop and rock and house. The most I love alternative rock. Bands like the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Muse, Coldplay, Foo Fighters, Franz Ferdinand, Editors, Kaiser Chiefs, Radiohead, Beatles are all brilliant.
