About Me

My friends consider me a good-natured, funny and adventurous girl.
After finishing the high school, I've been strolling around Europe for quite a long period. In the meanwhile I was keeping myself busy and trying to find out what I really like. I had one of the best times of my life as Erasmus student in Potsdam; I volunteered with teenagers in Cracow; I worked as tour guide in Norway; I studied audiovisual translation in Sevilla; I learnt about hospitality in southern Italy and I discovered Gran Canaria thanks to my boyfriend.
One year ago I settled down back in Trentino. Now I am working in an incoming tourism agency by the Garda lake and I keep on traveling whenever I have the chance.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed in Copenhagen and Faro and I shared my place with several travelers while I was living in Norway and Spain.

Interests

I take pleasure in simple things.
I love animals and I am vegetarian. I am keen on walking and hiking in the mountain with my dogs. I recently tested myself with some climbing in a couple of vie ferrate. I also like lying down with a book by the lake/sea/ocean. I feel happy when spending my time with people that can tell (their) stories.

Music, Movies, and Books

I read mainly narrative and I adore Saramago's style. Among my favourite writers I would mention Auster, Benni and Kafka. I enjoy comics as Mafalda and Ratman too.

I studied audiovisual translation and therefore I spent a lot of time practicing (subtitling) with series, films and documentaries. I might know many titles, still I am not such a big nerd.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Taking care of my dog giving birth to eight puppies;

Feeding and giving a bath to an elephant in the Cambodian jungle.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Since I am Italian, I can teach you how to prepare an authentic pizza - it is my speciality. If you are hosting me, of course I will be glad to prepare a dinner for you.
