CURRENT MISSION

To meet every kind of person, live every kind of moment.... and to make you smile :-)

I'm a social justice campaigner... but in previous lives have been a singer and a biomedical researcher. I love doing new things, and hate routine. I'm happiest when I'm having adventures and being spontaneous, or when I'm deeply engrossed in a conversation with a friend (new or old!). I get antsy when I've been in one place too long, and always prefer going somewhere new rather than back where I've been. I am energised by people, and love being around all sorts of folk.

I'm about to go travelling with my partner Alex, and we currently live in a little house in Melbourne. He's an aerospace engineer turned high school teacher, and together we like riding motorbikes, eating great food, gaming, kitesurfing and travelling to remote places.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I've been on Couchsurfing during many round the world trips now, because I love meeting new friends in new places. I love travelling, NOT "tourist-ing", and Couchsurfing has been the making of great times in lots of countries. I am still friends with many of the people I've met through Couchsurfing while travelling, and am so keen to keep meeting new great people all over the world!!

兴趣

I love motorbikes and long journeys with no end. I love music and campfires and hiking. Particularly obsessed with all sorts of boardgames, and love long conversations about the world, ethics, travel, and learning who you are.

Music from the 60s and 70s really gets me going - and especially love Bruce Springsteen, Melissa Etheridge, and Meat Loaf. But anything with great lyrics, songs about life, and songs that make me want to get up and dance.

Just one?! Getting lost in the jungle in Malaysia, riding barefoot on the back of motorbikes through forests in Uganda, eating pirhana caught right out of the Amazon, spending Christmas Eve drinking great wine in a piano bar on Mont Marte in Paris.

As above - love to cook! And am always up for a good conversation.
My partner Alex is also a fantastic handyman and loves sharing his skills with people (fixing bicycles, doing mechanics, sewing, coming up with great ideas to fix things that are broken!)
We also always have a bunch of travel games on us, so if you like boardgames over a glass of wine, we are always up for that!!!
