About Me
I was a marketing professional who quit their desk job because I simply love to travel and explore this incredible world too much. I'm now studying to be a Trauma-Informed Breathwork Facilitator with Sacred Breath Academy. I discovered breathwork a year ago and have seen huge shifts in my life since, and am so passionate about sharing this life-changing modality with the world.
I've lived in Canada and Japan, hiked Mt Kilimanjaro and to Everest Base Camp, backpacked through India and spent 3 months in Africa. I spent 2019 travelling (mostly eastern) Europe and working at farms and sanctuaries along the way. I've volunteered with both children and animals and love immersing myself in local culture and the local way of living.
I've been vegan/vegetarian for 6 years, but by no means worry if that is not your choice and we are out together. I understand we all have our own choices in life. Im a non smoker also, yet understand is very common to be amongst smokers in Europe. If you smoke, that is okay, I just prefer to have some space when this is happening.
Right now I'm travelling Portugal!!
I look forward to meeting you and learning more about your home, wherever that may be.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm couch surfing to meet locals, make some life long friends and learn more about the cities I am in 😊. There's nothing better than seeing a city from the eyes of a local.
Interests
Take me into nature any day - I love to camp, swim, hike, make camp fires, sleep under the stars, listen to bird song and the rain, read my book, watch the trees swag. All of it.
I have a hand pan, made by Karumi in Poland. I never have been musically inclined, however I absolutely love this instrument so much, and it holds a space dear in my heart. I just actually started to learn drums and it's so fun also.
Over the last few years I've gotten much more into dancing as a therapy. Ecstatic dance is one of my favourite things. Allowing free-flowing movement is so therapeutic for your body. I love this and you'll find me dancing often. I started to learn hula hooping and poi for this reason also. Still very much a beginner but I have so much fun with it. Would love to learn more if you know any tricks and tips!
