ABOUT ME

I am 22 years old and i am currently traveling Europe with my lovely boyfriend of 4.5 years, Chris. We are both very adventurous people (we are on the other side of the world after all!) we love the outdoors and being active. We are really excited to be in Europe and travel around heaps! we are proud kiwis and we miss our home a lot but we are enjoying our time traveling, seeing amazing sights and making wonderful friends!

PHILOSOPHY

i try to do what makes me happy while still remaining realistic. so far i am 22 and haven't really settled into a proper job yet... you could say i am procrastinating by tripping around Europe and the UK for a while! my family and my partner are my focus in life, my job is really only a way of earning money to fund my travels!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i can put members up in my home back in New Zealand, i can offer a separate bedroom with a single bed. i am also looking to make friends all over Europe and the world really!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed 3 peoples couches now and met up with a few members also. it has been a huge part of my traveling experience, staying with people i have never met before, getting to know them and their city and eventually becoming friends!... i have also hosted plenty of people from europe, mainly spain in my home in new zealand.

i am more into books than movies... if only i had the time to read more... and the room in my ever-increasing backpack! i love jodi picoult's books and trashy summer novels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

the south island of new zealand is beautiful, i loved traveling around there as i am from the north island. i have traveled china, europe and the UK a fair bit now and i am still (probably a little biased) so impressed with the beauty of my own country!

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to pick up a little of each language everywhere i go and i would really really love to take home some traditional recipes if you would be willing to share them... maybe even show me how to cook them! i can in return teach you some of my favorite new zealand recipes and tell you where to visit in New Zealand.
