Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't really participated at all yet - I'm looking to get more involved!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Last year, I went to Portugal with a friend who had just joined couchsurfing. In Porto, we met up with a couchsurfer who showed us around the city and introduced us to some local couchsurfers there. He and everyone else was so friendly and interesting. A couple days later in Coimbra we stayed on a couchsurfer's couch. I had a great time with Carlos - I really enjoyed our conversation over pineapple. Not only was he incredibly hospitable but he also sparked an interest in the Rubik's Cube. Everyone I've met who is part of couchsurfing has been special: kind, interesting, fun.

I like to be active. I enjoy running, walking, hiking, volleyball and rollerblading.
