About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To meet as strangers, and leave as friends.
ABOUT ME
My lovely boyfriend Jeff and I are currently on the trip of a lifetime, having taken time off work and study to travel and explore just a small part of this wonderful world. In December and January we've got the chance to spend time in Europe hoping to see as much as we can, and to have as many amazing experiences as possible. We're hoping that meeting people along the way will give us an even more authentic, truly European experience.
PHILOSOPHY
"Throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Explore. Dream. Discover." - Mark Twain
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We're pleased to say some of the highlights of our overseas travels have been thanks to being hosted by wonderful members of the Couchsurfing community. Block parties, rooftop pools, solar-powered baby chicken heaters, jazz, new friends and laughter. We can't wait to see who we meet in the future!
As yet, we have not hosted anyone at our house, though we fully intend on changing this in the not-too-distant future.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So many wonderful Couchsurfing hosts have showed us a wonderful time.
Interests
Lots of things... Reading, photography, nature, humanity, social justice, cinema, hiking, food, friends and family, music, camping, sunsets, and many things we've forgotten to mention, and many things we don't even know we're interested in yet!

Music, Movies, and Books
Any movies are good movies with a couple of glasses of wine. We've been to more good live music gigs than I can mention, and looking forward to many more.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Some of the highlights of our respective lives so far would have to include graduating from university, swimming with whalesharks off the coast of Exmouth in Western Australia, watching the sun set over the temples on the river in Orcha in India, hiking 4 days to Machu Picchu, wandering through St Peter's Basillica in awe and honestly too many other amazing things to mention!
Teach, Learn, Share
People who know us would describe me us as well-organized, but easy-going. Terrible jokes are the best ones. If I could give anyone some advice, it would be to invest in a good pair of shoes and a good mattress. You spend over 80% of your time between the both of them!
What I Can Share with Hosts
We hope to be able to offer some humor and insight into the world around us based on our experiences and what we've come to know in our short time on this earth. The ability to change or challenge the way someone thinks, even in a small way, is a huge privilege, and a gift we hope to receive in return.
