I take retirement a little at a time...

I'm currently taking an extended holiday to stay in Australia with friends and travel in the region. I always feel most alive when exploring new places, sometimes while meeting new people and sometimes while spending time with old friends around the world. I like to talk to strangers.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I like jazz and bluegrass. I pick up all kinds of books from the library, mostly non-fiction on topics including travel humor, business stuff, geography, history, biographies...and anything else that catches my eye.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I stayed back to take care of my friends' kids while they went away to Fiji on holiday...everyone I met while they were away said what I was doing was amazing. I have some fun stories from other adventures too.
