I'm a British Student, from Oxford
I'm an outgoing and very active person. I love to find out about people and where they are from. I love capoeira, music and dance. I play a little ukulele and i play the Brazilian percussion instrument pandeiro and i love to dance to whatever kind of music whenever, but specifically salsa, forró and Afro! It would be great to share music if you too also like to play. I love to surf, though i'm not very good yet, seem to just get pounded by the waves and end up swimming but thats okay!
I used to climb a lot when i was younger which is something i'd be up for getting back into
I'm a vegetarian, and i love to cook!
I have couchsurfed before in France this summer however i was with a friend and we used his account so i don't have any references yet. It was an amazing experience and we met some really amazing hosts and their families on the journey :)

I'm going to be around Europe this summer in various places. I feel like couch surfing is the perfect way to find out about a place in the most authentic way, it can't get much better than talking and exploring a city with someone that grew up or has lived there for many years!

Having couchsurfed in France for 2 weeks, i'm super keen to do it again. I will be arriving in Faro, Portugal on the 26th of October. I will be staying in Portugal for two weeks before flying to Brasil. I have only been to portugal once, a very long time ago and i'm keen to learn more about the culture and different regions of the country.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

I went to the Philippines when i was 18 very last minute. I bought a flight 5 days before and ended up staying for 3 months on the island of Leyte. I went to help rebuild houses after Typhoon Haiyan that destroyed alot of the island and almost all of its infrastructure. I lived in basic communal living conditions with lots of other volunteers and worked 6 days a week, digging irrigation systems, septic tanks, laying foundations, mixing cement by hand, and eventually building 105 new houses for people that were still living in temporary shelter. It was the most brutal but most rewarding experience i've ever had :)
