About Me

Originally I came up to Alaska for a two month splitboard trip in Valdez. I ended up staying in the parking lot of Alyeska resort with what I was wearing, my Splitboard and 25 dollars. I couldn't leave, the mountains were calling my name. I live in Anchorage as of recently and manage Blue&Gold Boardshop. Skate, shred, create and your never too old to draw with crayons. Backpacks full of rocks, postcards from places, numerous sketchbooks and thrift store dresses since the age of 5 and still today.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love adventures, good conversation and good people. Traveling is one of the best ways to experience things hands on, in the moment and feel alive. I enjoy meeting people from different walks of life. Couch surfing is a genuine experience that makes a trip memorable. couch surfing gives people the opportunity to give back to those who made their travels memorable. I think it's s great full circle experience that enriches as well as creates lifetime memories and I whole heartedly support that.

Music, Movies, and Books

Live Music ...the wavelengths shared between musicians and audiences are once in a lifetime experiences that can't be recreated and are my favorite. My imagination runs wild through the pages of a good book and my undivided attention is captured during a great movie. My memory catalogs skate an snowboard videos. I indulge in fashion magazines and sleep with thrasher, transworld or snowboarder clutched in my hand. National geographic lives on the coffee table.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For my golden birthday my dad and I climbed Mount Shasta. Just as we strapped on our crampons, we looked up and saw a meteor streak across the sky. We'd been wanting to climb Shasta together since I was 16. Best birthday.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd say good company, creative art work, engaging conversation, a hiking buddy, nannying if needed, adventures and some tasty food!
