ABOUT ME

Im a Malaysian girl, currently studying in Russia as a final year medical student.

On the first glance, i may seem quiet and shy. I always thought that i am an introvert, but somewhere along the line, i've changed and slowly gaining confidence to be more outgoing.

People who knows me well will know that i am talkative, full of lame jokes and a girl who smiles and laugh at just about anything. :) I like to think i am easy going and friendly. I'm open minded, i like to try new things and am not picky.

I love adventures and i love to explore. 6 years ago, i discovered my passion for travelling. I would travel somewhere every year during my winter holidays. And i promised myself to allocate time for travelling purpose in the future.

I consider myself quite a philosopher, and i have an optimistic view of life. Bring it on, life! :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Im still a newbie in this. I am looking forward to surf, to have my first CS experience.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing is new and foreign to me. Listening from what my friend told me from their experience, couchsurfing seems to be one the best way to meet new people, to have fun and to be inspired. This all sounds so interesting and i am so excited! :)

兴趣

Food! I love cooking, trying out new recipes with creativity, and i loove eating. XD

Travelling! Going to places, meeting people, capturing life moments, getting to know and experience different life culture.

Language! I know English, Malay, Chinese Mandarin, abit of cantonese and Russian but i don't wanna stop there. I'd love to learn other languages like tamil, korean, japanese, french, spanish, german and etc.

There is just too plenty to list down here. I am open to all new possibilities. :)

音乐、电影和书籍

Movies and series has always been and will always be my favourite past time. i youtube alot too. teehee~

Music : I listen to chinese songs, cantonese songs, english songs and Kpops. The type of music i listen to depends on my mood - R&B, hip hop, rap, jazz, electronic.

Books: I'm not a bookworm but i am mostly interested in reading non fictional books. i also love books by Jodi Picoult, Mitch Albom, Cecelia Ahern and Nicholas Sparks. Currently reading Sheryl Sanberg's Lean In, Goldfinch by Donn Tart, Elizabeth Gilbert's Signature of All Things. To read more is my 2014's new resolution. :)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

:) i find amazing life moments in tiny details of our daily life.

I've survived winter in russia with -35 degree. I've experienced winter so cold that when u step out from ur door, ice forms in ur eyelids.

I've been on a missionary trip for 10 days in Bihar, a small town in India. There was no electricity supply, and the people were poor. People have no home, no shelter. They live on the street. There, it is a normal sight to see naked people bathing along the street. A group of us went there and gave medical care, medication and education to the people, even with a language barrier. It has been a truly memorable experience.

As a medical student, I may be able to offer some health advice on lifestyle or anything medical related. But ofc, im still just a student, and not a practising doctor.

As someone who is interested in learning language, i can teach u basic chinese, or malay or russian language.

I am totally open to learning, just about anything.
