About Me
I'm trying to figure that out.
I spent a year working, studying and living with family in Argentina. While living in Buenos Aires, I started working for an independent and locally owned travel agency that allowed me to meet people from all over the world, but also discover the beauty of Patagonia. During my time in Argentina, I managed to see a large portion of the country as well as neighboring countries before I left to explore Australia, where my brother spent the summer.
Before I went to Argentina, I managed a non-profit that sells accessories made by global artisans in developing community that embodies fair trade practices. This organization has connected me to so many incredible people all over the world who are talented in many different ways. It also provided me with a quick site visit trip to four different micro-enterprise projects in Ecuador, where I backpacked with my friend from the coast to the mountains.
The summer before my visit to Ecuador, I interned in Washington D.C. studying, writing and researching Latin American affairs at a specialty think tank that hosted the president of El Salvador. I also interned on the international development team of a professional association team, which connected me with inspiring and powerful female lawyers in the African continent.
Before my summer in DC, I called San José, Costa Rica home where I learned to speak Spanish with a more advanced capability.
I even did research in Havana, Cuba while the Obama Administration made their historic visit. Ask me about my experience at the baseball game where the Cuban National played the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.

Music, Movies, and Books
The best conversations I've had while traveling are about literature, music and the stories that they tell.
I love the beats, the infarrealists and Clarise Lispector.
Father John Misty is my favorite musical artist hands down.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I camped under the stars is the Atacama Desert in Chile, which is supposedly one of the best spots to see the milky way. I can confirm that it is definitely one of the best places to see the stars.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm always happy to share stories, teach Spanish (or the semester's worth of Russian that I have been forgetting since I started taking it) and learn anything and everything that I can.
What I Can Share with Hosts
