ABOUT ME

Hello! I have recently moved to Denver, Colorado, and I love meeting people, traveling, experiencing new cultures and adventure. I am full of energy, think I am funny at times but most importantly am kind and a great friend. I've lived in five different states in the US and spent close to two years living in Barcelona, Spain. I have been to 35 countries (and counting).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love staying with locals and experiencing their life. The experiences and friendships that come from couch surfing are incredible and lifelong. I love the energy I can feel when reading CS profiles. There are so many cool people out there to meet!

I have never been able to host couch surfers (because of roommates) but I am now in a situation where I can host and give back to the CS community. I am excited to see who I can meet! (I turned on the feature mid-August and that is why I do not have any reviews of hosting yet.)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couch surfed all over Europe and have loved every experience. The best experiences I've had while traveling were couch surfing. I love to see how a local person lives and get to live a piece of their life for a split second. I have a handful of very close friends that have come from couch surfing and I'm still in touch with them years later. Couch surfing is truly the best way to experience local culture and meet friends from all over the world!

Music, Movies, and Books

Lately, I've been reading historically based books. I love that I can read about places and go see the actual buildings and walk the streets where these stories happened hundreds of years ago.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Probably when I decided to move to Barcelona! I left a 10+ year career in the professional sports industry, sold most of my belongings (including my Jeep) and took a leap of faith to chase a dream to live in Europe, travel and immerse myself in a different culture. Best decision and I couldn't have been happier.
