About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to try and take every opportunity I get to experience something new

ABOUT ME

I'm an adventurous person, who was bitten by the travelling bug when I was 18. I've seen most of my country (which is AMAZING), a bit of England, and Barbados and would love to see the rest of the world. My personal goal is to one day get to Ireland, as my family background is Irish, and I LOVE family history!
You can check out my web site if you are interested to know any more about who I am.

PHILOSOPHY

That every person was created with a God-given purpose that enables us to live life to it's absolute fullest.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well, for a year and a half, I LIVED on other people's couches/spare rooms. I travelled with a group called Absolute, doing motivational assemblies in high schools, and we relied on the kindness of others to put us up in the various places we went to all over Canada. Most experiences were WONDERFUL, and only a handful (not even) were... not as wonderful.
Anyway, with all the couchsurfing I've done, I figured that this would be a good way to sort of "pay back" the experience!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: anything that will make me laugh, cry, gasp, get angry (in a good way), or want to change the world. One of my favorites is the Lord of the Rings movies
Music: almost everything (except country...and maybe polka)
Books: a few of my favorite authors include John Elderidge, Francine Rivers, and C.S. Lewis

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

From going off in a fishing boat of the tip of the northern peninsula in Newfoundland, to the Rockies in B.C., seeing and experiencing my country would have to be THE most amazing so far. Canada is SO big, and there is SO much to see and do...it gave me a tiny glimpse into the "bigness" of God!

Countries I’ve Visited

Barbados, Canada, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Canada
