ABOUT ME

Where do I start?? Well I guess that I was born to travel... I can't seem to stay in one place for too long!

I love exploring, seeing the beauty of this planet and connecting to other people from different walks of life. I appreciate a good story, and have many of my own to share as well.

I am also a hard-core nature lover.... I am an ecologist by trade and love nothing more than getting out in the forest and discovering the wonders and beauty of the natural environment.

My two greatest loves in the world: dancing and hiking!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I travelled in Europe in 2008 I used couchsurfing alot... and I love it! I have met so many amazing people and it has made my trip all that more beautiful...
I haven't hosted many 'offical' couch surfers, but nonetheless, during summer our home always seems to be full of friends, friends of friends and random travellers that we meet at festivals and the pub!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Its great meeting so many different, open and beautiful people and getting off the tourist track and experiencing places with the locals. Some of my best travel experiences have been through couchsurfing.

I love spending time outside in nature... The more remote and wild the better :) I've also been really getting into yoga lately as well.

I absolutely, totally and whole-heartedly love reggae and dub, but generally will enjoy anything that gets me up and dancing :)
... As for books...I love reading... 'One hundred years of solitude' definately stands out as one of the best.
