ABOUT ME

Hi everyone! I am originally from Southern California and am currently a grad student living in Portland, OR. I'm studying to be a Physician Assistant, but my interests range from alternative medicine, to gardening (still learning...I'm a city rat...), to reading, cooking/burning things, listening to others' stories, and (attempting to) train my 1.5 year old Puggle, Gus. He keeps me company as my partner is currently living in Connecticut finishing off a PhD. The long distance is definitely tough, but nothing new to us!

PHILOSOPHY

I guess it would have to be that we are all in this together. I believe that we're all a part of each other... the same energy, if you will, and we are all looking for the similar things... happiness...health...a good meal, and a damn good drink...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

While I do not have a spare couch at the moment (my place is pretty tiny) I would love to meet up for coffee/drinks/anything new and exciting! I love meeting new people, and while I'm still acquainting myself with Portland, I'd love some company while exploring the city. My school schedule is a bit insane at times, but there's always a chance that I'll have a spare moment to sneak away!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Errol and I have been involved with CS for about five years. We have taken several cross-country road trips and met/stayed with some incredible people through this amazing organization. We hosted fairly frequently when we were living in South Bend, Indiana, and always had really wonderful experiences.

Interesses

Learning about new things/hobbies/cultures/people. I'm not very outdoorsy, but I'm willing to try!
