ABOUT ME

I am Jena and I am a 22 year old living amongst the wonderful people of Golden. I spend my life finding various ways to get on top of mountains, and back down them again via bikes, skis, my feet. I have a wiener dog, Murphy, who joins me on adventures. We have not yet agreed on which season we like best yet here in Canada, but what does he know, he's just a wiener.

PHILOSOPHY

To do whatever makes you happy. I don't want to get to the end of my life, and feel like I missed out on something, or wish I had done something differently. I try to see the bigger picture, and imagine what will make me happier at the end of my life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am looking for couches in Iceland for the month of October. I am starting my adventure in Reykjavik, and then would like to get out of the city and into the land and small towns.

Does anyone want to go skiing, or surfing!?

A good day off involves sitting on the front deck, drinking coffee in the morning, then beer in the afternoon.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2012 I took money I saved for University and went to Europe with my two best friends instead, and it was the best decision of my life.

One time I got caught in an avalanche... that was not the best decision of my life.
