They would say that I love kids (I'm a Grand Pa), I can fix nearly everything and I have a big heart.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is that I was placed on this earth at this time and place by my Creator (God) for a reason. None of this was by accident and I feel my purpose in this life is to help any and all persons that need help.

I participate: we host couch surfers and travel and surf as well

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have surfed both inside and outside the USA. All experiences have been great. We have hosted also and have had an awesome cross section of folks

Interests

My wife and I are involved in world mission projects. We just returned from Ecuador where a group of volunteers built 2 churches and remodeled 2 others.
I also enjoy working on our home on Beaver Lake in Arkansas.
I own a small portable sawmill and enjoy working with wood
Presently doing organic raised bed gardening on a small scale

Music, Movies, and Books

Not too much into movies anymore.Do like the"Fireproof" and "Courageous" types that have a good moral lesson.
Being raised in the 50's and 60's I enjoy that era of music. I now lean more toward very mellow music: Groban, Bochelli, etc.
Books: the Bible and certain commentaries, Mitchner, etc.

The birth of my two sons. Standing at the top of Iguassu Falls in Argentina. Hiking the Grand Canyon...
