ABOUT ME

I'm currently living in between NYC and Atlanta for the next year. I was raised in the Midwest and have been a New Yorker for 10 years. I love the city and its people...for its passion, diversity and total aliveness. I've been an activist on environmental and women's issues, workshop leader, educator, event planner, coach, consultant, worked on films, photo shoots and now a small business owner. I happily have created a reality that is beyond the 9-5 desk job.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy. Make the world better than when you got it. Love on people and have compassion for them, see that their crazy behavior can have nothing to do with the present. It's often historical.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've couch surfed three times now in Chicago, Nashville and San Diego. I've met for other surfers for drinks/coffee. I'm totally looking forward to surfing other spots in California. I also look forward to being home in June and hosting my first surfer!

I'm interested in travel, photography, film, understanding human nature, home renovating and decorating, dogs, fashion, theater, film, story telling - check out www.themoth.org, making a difference, education, children, sunday brunches, connecting people and having gatherings, dinner parties, good food - organic, healthy, good wine...love wineries and wine tastings, great restaurants. I'm very interested in learning to cook more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled to Lulea Sweden and visited a little cabin on an island where my great grandpa was born. Traveled to Romania and to Rosia Montana where my ex's family originated. Bumped into one of his grandma's long lost cousin's on the street! This was the site of Europe's largest gold mine which is currently under protest for re-opening.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can give some feng shui basics. I am great with creating comfy, well placed spaces. I have been told I'm a great listener and coach. I used to do coaching, communication skills workshops and organizational development training. I would love to learn about growing a business.
