ABOUT ME

I graduated from the University of Tennessee in the Spring of 2012. Since then I have been working on a start-up with a women's empowerment organization in Uganda that connects homeless and HIV+ women to local artisans and business mentors. I am trying to make their products available and affordable around the U.S., while creating a totally transparent supply chain.

I've surfed with three different hosts on my first road trip through TX and LA. They were great first experiences! My next goal is to become more involved with other local surfers!

I saw the 20th anniversary of the Fall of the Berlin Wall. I saw Obama get his Nobel Peace Prize. I lived in a remote island in the South Pacific for 4 months. I've climbed part of the Great Wall, seen the Eiffel Tower, seen the Colosseum. I shopped in a Guatemalan market in Chichicastenango. I saw my brother get married. I hitch hiked from the south of Austria to Berlin. I studied Russian in Moscow, Estonia, and Latvia. I saw Shaquille O'Neal in person and got to watch him proclaim "I am Kazam" for the group of kids I was with. I've walked through snow piled higher than a lot of houses. I've caught a fish and eaten it raw out of the ocean. I've drunk water straight from a river in Slovenia. There are too many amazing things to choose just one...
