ABOUT ME

I am a friendly, fun-loving person. I grew up on a farm in a very small town in eastern Washington state. My family owns nearly 5,000 acres of land and our closest neighbors were miles away. My life in the country gave me an appreciation for the beauty of sunsets and starlight and wide open spaces. It also made me crave the noise, action and stimulation of big cities. I have always had a love of travel and I enjoy meeting new people from around the world. I hope to someday see the world, visit every state in the US and every continent.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have several friends who have surfed and I am taking a solo trip to Europe for a month this summer and hope to couchsurf a bit as a way to meet new people. I would also love to host in the future.

Books, mountain biking, hiking, friends, wine, coffee, seeing new places, meeting new people, food, cooking, trying new things (skydiving, scubadiving and polar bear plunge into 30 degree water are a few of the things I've tried in the last year)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love books and movies. I love talking about books but don't expect me to be an expert on anything...there is so much yet left to learn. I enjoy all types of music although some more than others.
