About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see the world and make some great stories. I love interesting people. I am an engineer but I'm still looking for the path that I really want to follow.
ABOUT ME
I am a 26 year old civil engineer. I love music festivals, gathering with friends, travelling and reading. I'm a massive non secret nerd who has been known to give their friends Maths grinds when they were stuck! I love love love travelling and seeing unusual places. I like having to make an effort to get to a place because I think you enjoy it more when you eventually get there! I left university 2 years ago. I worked for a year in Ireland as an engineer and then I went to Korea to teach english. I speak Irish fluently and pretty basic Korean! Im a big documentary lover. I've travelled to 40ish countries and I can't wait to see the rest of them.
PHILOSOPHY
If you can't find a way make one.She who dares wins.
I really really really want to get a motorbike and ride into Tibet and travel around to see it all. Because I'm a foreigner I cant but someday hopefully this will be possible. Cannot wait for that day.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Couchsurfing is new to me, I have never hosted (yet, I will when I decide where to live). Bbbuuuuuttttttt when my boyfriend and I decide where we will live I will gladly return the favour. We all very social and love meeting new people.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far we have couchsurfed in Taiwan and China.
Interests
Clothes, exercise, travel to unusual places, Irish folklore, documentaries, chatting, wine, meeting friends and beach sports. I love to scuba dive, I did my advanced a while back and now im building up my dives! I really like adventure sports, if you don't feel out of your depth then you're not really living! In school I was the captain of the quiz team so I love some facts and weird knowledge! I really like quizzes. Recently I've started to learn properly about photography but while iv been trsvelling it's been more of a case of doing and not really learning! I have aspirations of being a war journalist but for now ill enjoy the less serious side of life.

Music, Movies, and Books
Shawshank redemption, war documentaries, history documentaries, autobiographies-piece of cake being a favourite. I'm an indie/rock lover, in Ireland I went to lots of gigs but now I make do with what I can see on the internet.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Caving in Guatamala during high tide while holding a candle in my mouth was a scary experience but one of the best! The water was so powerful but we got through it eventually to jump down a huge water fall into a lagoon of calm green water. I also loved swimming with giant turtles in Bunaken in Indonesia and seeing pygmy seahorses. Climbing Hunagshan was epic, the views are incredible. Very avatar-esque.
