ABOUT ME
I don't like such descriptions of oneself, but I like walking, swimming, climbing, running, cycling and even more cycling hands free, sitting somewhere and everywhere. I appreciate coffee, the smell of fish, gardening and having beers with friends on our terrasse. I'm not always very organized. I can hardly stand people judging without knowing or trying. I like drawing, photography and reading, as well. And I cannot say theory without saying reality.
I'm now living both in Paris and Marseille, where I wrote my master thesis on the on the link between walking and identity. More precisely it's about an (sub)urban hiking trail, so if you want to discover this crazy city (by feet), let me know! Otherwise it's hard to describe oneself... I love to meet and discover new people, unknown places, architecture, arts and theatre. I would consider myself as easy-going and curious and I love to take my time to discover parts of this city that are still unknown to me.
I finished university this summer, but i'm running for one more year because I like this city, with all attractive and repulsive points it contains. So after a bachelor in politcal sciences and a master in urban studies, I'm into landscape architecture now.
PHILOSOPHY
- Goethe"Hereby I confess that the grand and so important-sounding task of "Know yourself" has always occured suspicious to me - as a ruse of secretly allied priests who confuse the people with unattainable demands and induce them to step back from an activity against the outside world towards a false inward tranquility. Man knows himself only insofar as he knows the world, of which he only can become aware of in himself - and he can only become aware of himself through the world." - Goethe
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Just hosting people when I'm able to, just travelling around when time is there - without any prejudices and open mind and eyes. I think CS is much about that, and contributing to it doesn't ask for a lot!
The best I can offer, besides the abovementioned and my little room, are city tours inspired and created by our group of students of architecture, urbanism and politcal science. Just check out our website! and if you speak french and you're lucky with the date you can participate in one of our urban tours during your time of stay: www.atraversparis.com

The World
Teach, Learn, Share
I guess the best I can share is my hospitality. What I can teach is another question; I enjoy doing urban tours and I'm part of a student association organizing such tours (www.atraversparis.com). What I can learn depends, I guess, on the other.
