i hate these things - i think everyone thinks differently about me. erm anyway, i guess i'm pretty friendly. i like drinking tea and cycling, meeting people and sharing things. I'm a doctor but ceratinly not typical and am taking a slightly alternative career path, i just did a masters in anthropology and now am working in deepest darkest Zululand...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i accidentally couchsurfed at a friend's friend's house which was such a lovely experience i thought i better give something in return. whilst i cant offer anywhere to stay i can give a friendly face and a tour of london town

some wonderful experiences both accidental and through CS...what a lovely way to see the world

Interessen

cycling when the sun shines; volunteering (previously with young seperated asylum seekers and vulnerable migrant groups); cooking for lots of folks in a big pot; chatting; reading in the park; making a fool of myself and then laughing about it; teaching; making and customising clothes; dancing dancing dancing!!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

almost anything goes for me with music, i love the british folk scene at the moment, but then i also love 80's pop and electro house; kings of leon; the soundtrack to juno makes me smile; funk/soul that you can really dance to

oh brother where art thou, amelie, goodbye lenin, (oh and clueless - but i'm a bit embarrassed about that)

anything by kate atkinson...especially beihind the scenes at the museum; everything is illuminated; lots and lots more
