ABOUT ME

I graduated uni in 2006 and have lived in New Zealand, Australia and Canada over the past 7 years. I have just returned to Melbourne after a 6 month round the world ticket where i went to South America, Europe, USA and Thailand.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am interested in meeting new and interesting people and listening to and learning from any stories they have to tell. I'm currently in the process of finding a new home. Once i've done this i would love to host people. At the minute i'm happy to meet up with people and have a coffee/drink and show them around the wonderful city that is Melbourne!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I grew up with lots of different people staying at my house as my dad picked up hitch hikers on a regular basis as he was one himself.

On my recent round the world ticket i've had many amazing couch surfing experiences in many different counties.

I met a guy at the cafe i worked at in BC from Belgium who had been sleeping in -30 temperatures outside the local supermarket. He wasn't on couch surfing but i made him come and sleep on my couch for a week until he found his friend so that he didn't freeze to death!!

Interessen

I love photography, making jewellery, animals of every variety, eating good food, drinking good alcohol, having good conversations, the ocean and those fairy things (dandelions gone to seed) that you find in the garden!! I'm also a MASSIVE music lover and of course i love to travel.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I like movies that make me think - far too many to mention here! I love classic books and reading about people whether it be musicians, journalists or famous world figures.

I love LOTS of very different music - lots of kiwi bands, The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Cold War Kids, Fleetwood Mac, The Libertines, Babyshambles, The Kills, Jeff Buckley, White Stripes, Eagles of Death metal, The Dead Weather, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs the list could go on and on an on!!
