ABOUT ME
I am 29 years old and currently residing in Baltimore however I'm hoping to make a move in the near future. For the past two years I have been in graduate school and working on a number projects with youth and immigrant families. Prior to that I was working in Central America on a number of public health and education projects through Peace Corps and two other smaller NGO's. My friends would probably say that am I am very open-minded, down to earth individual with an adventurous spirit.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have used couchsurfing before when backpacking around Europe about 8 years ago. Overall, my friend and I had a great time with the people we stayed with and were able to see a lot more of Europe!

Interests

I have a wide variety of interests including traveling, outdoor sports/general fitness activities, dancing wherever possible, eating good food, and working on local development projects. Having lived outside of the US for the past three years, most of my time was spent working with schools and getting to know my community and all the characters that made it all so interesting. I also had a dog who took up a lot of my free time. In Nicaragua, I hope to enjoy the beach and the sunshine and possibly hike some more volcanoes!
