I am a professional songwriter and musician. My aim is to travel Canada via couch surfing in exchange for playing music for a household!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My interests include performing and singing on the piano, writing songs, and meeting new people! My aim through couch surfing is to provide what's called a "House Concert". The idea I am building is to travel across Canada and stay with different hosts that would be interested in supporting my personal Couch Concert Series. As a host, it is most fun when he/she invites ten or more friends/family members to enjoy an evening of music! Typically, the evening is most enjoyed when guests make a potluck out of the event and also bring a donation of some dollar, as this is how I make my living! The aim is to create a cozy enviornment and a get-together evening with the hosts' friends to support a touring songwriter. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first time couch surfing was on my 2012 "Couch Concert Series". I travelled the Okanagen performing and staying in different people's homes every night during my tour. I am so excited by the idea of couch surfing! The world is full of SO many beautiful people and I would love to continue sharing my music and meeting more and more of these people! There are mass amounts of positive energy being exchanged through this idea!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Released my EP at the Edmonton Folk Music Festival 2011 - looked out onto a sunny/grassy hill at 1500-2000 smiling faces listening and appreciating the music being shared from onstage!

Teach, Learn, Share

Again - my idea is to exchange a home for a concert. I am eager to meet new people and share my music with them.
