Hi! I’m Jen, I’m from Brazil and I’ve been living in US since the end of 2018. My friends would say that I’m a easy going kind of person and sometimes too much nerdy kind o person! Lol
I like to explore places, make new friendships, talk about books, movies, TV shows, conspiracy theories and all this stuffs, I’m not a night club kind of person, but I love to go to bars and drink with friends at home, go to the beach and things like that (my soul it’s too old and my body needs at least 2 day to recover from a big party night 🤷🏻‍♀️😂) . Some friends recommended me this app as I do love traveling and I always try to get to know the place for real, and not only the tourists views, so decided to give it a chance!
I’m really excited about all this different way to travel and can’t wait to start it!

I had always choose the “tourist options” before, until I moved out in an exchange program and I realized that there are much more to know about a place when you live there or know someone from that place than what you usually get as a “typical tourist” , so my friends told me about Couchsurfing and I thought: Why not?

音乐、电影和书籍

I don’t listen much of international songs, I love Brazilian’s songs (Funk, Pagode and Sertanejo) but I do enjoy country music 🤷🏻‍♀️😂 , Harry Potter’s movies are my fav movies ever, and about books? Dan Brown, J.K, Lisa Gardner, Jojo Moyes etc, yep! Pretty much everything, I love reading and I’m always with my Kindle on my purse 😊

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

My first (and only so far) road trip ever! I went to Arizona, Nevada and California. 3 states, more than 10 cities (including Area 51 -the gate in Rachel- and a Ghost Town) in 8 days!
Yep, it was crazy, but that opened my mind to a different way to travel and maybe for you this may look silly, but for me, who left her Country over a year ago for the first time to an exchange program, and before that only hotels and everything planned in advance? It was amazing!
