About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To cure my wanderlust before becoming a grown-up.

ABOUT ME

I am a teacher with summer's off. I love to fill that time with travel that is somehow life-changing. I like to try new things and add to the world I live in by volunteering when possible. I like to challenge myself emotionally and physically during my vacations. Lying on a beach is really not my thing unless it is while I'm waiting for a boat to take me parasailing or to some remote island to discover an unfamiliar habitat. I like to read and watch movies in my real life. I'm currently fascinated by eastern cultures and philosophies so I read a lot related to buddhism.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm not really into religions but I feel very connected to the Earth. I think God can be seen in all things- human and natural- but that we can't possibly begin to understand all that there is to that word GOD. I think it's best to be good to people and live ethically, whether it involves passage into the heavens or nirvana or whatever.
