Overview
About Me
Hi! I'm Jenny (or Jen for short!) and I'm a photographer from Scotland. I've spent most of my late teens/early twenties travelling but now it's my first time travelling solo. I'm super easy-going and don't take myself too seriously. I like to have a good laugh and enjoy exploring nature and learning about new cultures. I love meeting new people and sharing stories and interesting conversations. I'm a creative by nature and love to draw, paint, knit, crochet and of course photograph! Sometimes I find hostels overwhelming meeting so many new people at once, so I am enjoying a more local and small experience with couchsurfer
Sometimes I'll travel with a friend or my boyfriend but mostly alone, I will let you know on requests! I can cook you a nice curry or some comfort food and teach you funny Scottish slang words.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's my first time travelling solo and I'd love to meet some interesting and like-minded people to share experiences and stories with.
Interests
I like to keep fit and spend time in nature while doing so. I'm arty at heart so enjoy being creative, photography is my main passion. I'm definitely an introverted extrovert and enjoy quiet time as much as socialising and enjoying new company

Music, Movies, and Books
I like most music, especially folk/acoustic and indie. I can share some traditional Scottish music with you! My favourite book is the Lost Flowers of Alice Hart or Cloud Cuckoo Land. I love watching new movies with people but my favourites are cheesy ones like Sunshine on Leith
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Worked in the remote Australian Outback for 5 months, it was incredible
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you some Scottish phrases, crochet and photography! I'd love to learn more basic language skills as I'm only fluent in English. I enjoy sharing stories and photos of travels.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm open-minded, tidy, responsible and respectful. I like to joke around and have fun but can equally enjoy a quiet chat, maybe over wine or coffee! I can offer some insight into Scottish culture, teach you some funny slang words and of course cook a nice meal. I can also help with some photos
